New-user offer: New users choose Hobby or Pro during first-workspace setup. A workspace that starts on Hobby can activate its one-time 60-day Pro trial later from Plan & usage. No card is required.
Legacy benefit: Legacy Pro users get 60 days of Pro free at the new-plan launch when their existing Pro workspace has no payment, cancellation, or prior-trial record. No card is required during that period.
Paid Pro status: Pro is $39/month after the free period. Paid subscriptions are not open yet. If checkout is unavailable when the free period ends, the workspace automatically uses Hobby and keeps its saved data.

When you choose
After you confirm your email, the first workspace setup asks you to choose Hobby or start Pro's free 60-day founding period. Starting with Hobby does not forfeit the offer: the workspace can activate its one-time Pro trial later from Plan & usage. Hobby does not expire, and using Hobby later never deletes your saved shop data.
